New signpost to point the way to Knighton Dyke
A section of Offa’s Dyke, just a short stroll from the Offa’s Dyke Centre in Knighton but often missed by visitors, is about to have its own signpost. The Offa’s Dyke Association is to make a significant financial contribution towards the cost of a new National Trail signpost with a third ‘finger’ pointing in the direction of the monument.
This is a partnership project with National Trail Officer Rob Dingle and demonstrates our commitment to improving the visitor experience.
ODA Chairman Dave McGlade said: “this is a small but important step that will help visitors to appreciate and understand the Dyke. We are delivering our charitable aim and it is being funded from donations received this summer from our members and visitors”.
