‘Fun & Well-being’ day – Offa’s Dyke Lodge, Gladestry 50th Anniversary Celebrations

To mark the 50^th anniversary of the Offa’s Dyke Association, Offa’s Dyke Lodge Bed & Breakfast in Gladestry are holding a special event on Saturday June 8^th 2019. The theme of the celebration is ‘Fun & Well-being’. The activities include talks, demonstrations and workshops on a wide variety of subjects such as: Foraging, Yoga, Pilates, Meditation, Self-hypnosis, Massage and Reflexology. There will also be activities for children, a Teddy Bears picnic, fancy dress, face painting, chill-out tent, plus much more!

The children from Gladestry Primary School are doing a special project on the history of Offa’s Dyke, the children will be presenting this and it will be displayed on the day.

Offa’s Dyke Lodge B&B is a large wheelchair friendly bungalow with three guest rooms and guest dining room. In the bungalow there will be a ‘Vintage style café’ serving afternoon tea, including gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options. There will be plenty of seating outside in the gardens or if you prefer you can relax by the swimming pool.

The letting rooms will be available for any visitors to take a look so you can see what the B&B offers. The work of a local artist will be displayed on the walls throughout the bungalow and the artist will be there to talk to you about her paintings if you wish.

The ‘Fun and well-being’ day celebrating the 50^th anniversary of the Offa’s Dyke Association will take place on Saturday June 8^th from 2pm-5pm. Donations will be given to the ODA conservation fund and Air Ambulance Wales. Please support us, you will have a great time.
