Trefonen village Exhibition & Heritage Walk

Trefonen village presents a weekend of local heritage. The community is proud of its association with Offa’s Dyke and Offa’s Dyke Path National Trail and the unveiling of two new Offa’s Dyke signs, sponsored by the village, will be one of the highlights of the weekend. On the Sunday the Heritage Walk is between 10.00am and 12,30pm on Sunday.

2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Offa’s Dyke Association (ODA), the friend’s group for the Dyke and National Trail. The ODA, based in Knighton, enjoys close links with Trefonen with several villagers joining the membership based charity and offering their time, skills and advice. The ODA is therefore particularly grateful to Trefonen for organising this event and helping to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
